History of Carrier

Carrier was founded in 1915, and in Newark, New Jersey they opened their first manufacturing plant. Thanks to the air conditioner, and Carrier’s marketing, the U.S. Southwest was finally able to start building suburbs and expanding their cities. They have multiple manufacturing sites in Indiana, Tennessee, Texas and North Carolina. Their newest site in Mexico was built to be an efficient, green facility. As the years went by, Carrier began acquiring multiple companies, and even continued to use their brands and logos. In the 2000’s, they expanded outside of the country and now have offices/services in Canada and Australia.
